Waste pile-up

Published April 23, 2018

THE Municipal Corporation of Dera Ghazi Khan is storing the city’s waste in an open stadium of the Ghazi University’s city campus, Model Town main road, behind the Professors Colony, besides the Girls hostel and D.G. Khan College secretariat, in the residential area. This is creating pollution and infectious diseases like malaria.

Also, no spray has been carried out for protecting residents of the area. It seems there is a lack of waste management in the city. Higher-ups should take necessary action in this regard.
