KOHAT: The election commission has issued schedule for training of the poll staff to be held from April 23 to May 4.

A handout issued on Saturday said that the district election commissioner, Habib ur Rehman Khattak, asked the election staff, including presiding officers, senior assistant presiding officer and polling officers to report at the four stations set up in Kohat and Lachi tehsils for the purpose.

The election commissioner designated government boys high school No 2 and girls degree college for training of assistant presiding officers in Kohat tehsil. Similarly, boys higher secondary school and girls higher secondary school were designated in Lachi tehsil for the training of polling officers.

The timings for assistant presiding officers would be from 9am to 12pm and for polling officers from 2pm to 5pm which would be followed by second phase of training of presiding officers.
