KARACHI, May 21: FPCCI President Mohammad Saeed has invited Korean companies to come in a big way to exploit enormous investment opportunities in Pakistan. He was talking to Sukchul Chang, the new Korean Consul General, who paid a courtesy call on him here on Saturday.

The FPCCI chief informed the consul general that there were many areas for joint venture collaboration between Pakistani and Korean companies such as production and export of value-added textiles, fisheries, electronics, mobile phones and accessories, leather industry, transport vehicles, development of infrastructure, development of the Gwadar Port, pharmaceuticals, cattle breeding, etc.

He said Pakistani businessmen would welcome the Korean technology which was better and cheaper than Japanese. He said that there was no security problem in Pakistan. —APP
