Official held for fraud

TANDO ADAM KHAN, Oct 3: The Gulzar-e-Hijri police, Karachi, on Tuesday brought here an accused, Nisar Nizamani, for investigation as he is said to have deprived people of Rs10 million through fraudulent means.

The accused, Nisar, who was a clerk in the local office of the education department, used to deprive teachers of their provident funds, gratuity, and other entitlements through forgery in service books.

Thus, he cheated about 25 senior lady teachers showing them as retired.

One Aijaz had also lodged a report at the Gulzar-e-Hijri police station against him for depriving him of Rs200,000.—PPI
