JI to attend APC

LAHORE, May 17: The Jamaat-i-Islami has accepted the PML-N invitation to attend an all-party conference on Kashmir. The moot is scheduled for May 23 in Islamabad. A three-member team, led by Jamaat Amir Qazi Husain Ahmad, will present the party’s point of view in the moot. Naib Amir Liaquat Baloch and Secretary-General Syed Munawwar Hasan will be accompanying him.

Meanwhile, Qazi Husain has convened a special meeting of the party leaders at Peshawar on May 21.

Legal experts will also attend the meeting on a special invitation to discuss pros and cons of the Hisba Bill which is likely to be adopted by the NWFP assembly in coming days.
