Nazim seeks more funds

KHAIRPUR, May 17: The District Nazim Khairpur, Nafisa Shah, has called for increase in budgetary allocations so that the on going development projects could be completed. She was addressing a meeting of the district council on Monday.

The session was presided over by the convenor Bibi Irshad Jilani. The district nazim said that the Sindh government had advised the district government to complete the projects from available budget.

She said that more budget for burn injuries, 25 per cent for health and other development schemes were required.

She announced that one each male and female would be included in employment quota of disabled.

She said 100 primary schools would be set up district where poor children would study and the district government would provide them food for one time. She proposed that every UC would be given Rs750,000 instead of Rs500,000 and every member of district council would get Rs400,000 instead of Rs250,000 for development.—BoC
