ISLAMABAD: A 12-year-old girl was kidnapped from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Hospital on Tuesday.

A CDA gardener had brought his daughter to the hospital for her kidney pain. A man approached the girl’s father in the outpatient department and introduced himself as a doctor. He asked the girl’s father to produce his medical card and told him the number on the card was not correct. He told the victim’s father to go to the administration block and sort out the mistake.

The CDA employee went to do so and left his daughter in the OPD. The administration block told him his card number was correct and when he returned, he saw that his daughter was not in the OPD.

The hospital staff was told about the kidnapping as well and a case was registered at the Aabpara police against an unidentified man under PPC’s 364-A.
