LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif left here for London on Tuesday to inquire after the health of Kalsoom Nawaz. The officials did not mention the date of his return, but the date mentioned on Mr Sharif’s ticket is April 1.

Besides inquiring after Begum Nawaz’s health, Mr Sharif will get his medical check-up done.

He will also hold meetings with PML-N office bearers and overseas Pakistanis.

Earlier, he welcomed PSL players and congratulated the organisers for holding matches in Lahore.

He said the world should realise that Pakistan was a peaceful and safe country where the people are the great fan and fond of cricket.
