QUETTA: Security forces arrested five suspected militants and recovered a cache of weapons and explosives in intelligence-based operations in various areas of Balochistan on Sunday, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.

The operations were conducted in Quetta, Uch, Dera Bugti, Loralai, Pishin and Sibi in which five suspected terrorists were apprehended while six others surrendered.

The recovered cache of arms and ammunition included mines, explosives, detonators, submachine guns and communication equipment.
