Women’s Islamic Games

ISLAMABAD, May 16: Pakistan will take part in 11 disciplines at the 4th Women’s Islamic Games in Tehran this September. Out of a total of 18 sports, the national athletes will compete in athletics, golf, shooting, swimming, judo, karate, taekwondo, badminton, squash, table tennis and tennis.

Azam Dar, assistant director at the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) said that while the athletics and swimming training camps were already on, others will get under way next month.

The Games are slated to take place on Sept 22-28.
