10 die in Pasni accident

QUETTA, May 15: At least ten passengers were killed and 22 injured in a head-on collision between two coaches near Pasni airport early on Sunday. One coach was coming from Karachi to Turbat while the other was going to Karachi from Gwadar. They collided in the Chakoli area of Pasni tehsil at about 2am on Sunday. The Pasni and Gwadar police station officials told Dawn on telephone that the accident involved two coaches named Javed and Al-Karim. The deceased have been identified as Saleh Muhammad, Abdul Jalil, Haji Abdullah, Ishaq, Abid, Ali Ahmed, Haji Murad, Munir Ahmed, Shahnaz Bibi and Meenza Bibi.
