LAHORE, May 15: Asif Ali Zardari, who was to return to the Punjab capital during the next couple of days, has extended his stay in UAE for about two weeks for medical reasons. Zardari told Dawn that he had appointments with doctors in UAE and it was for this reason that he had to delay his programme.

He said now he would be coming back in the first week of June.

Because of the change in the programme, dates for his public meetings in Okara and Faisalabad will be reset.

Similarly, a new date will be given for his visit to the Mazar of Bulleh Shah in Kasur.
