SUKKUR, May 15: A woman and her two daughters were burnt to death and four other people were injured when a fire broke out in the Dina Bux Golo village in Kandhkot on Saturday. Jevni Golo was cooking food when the fire broke out and engulfed the house. Ms Jevni and her two daughters, three-year-old Mourzadi, 3, and 20-day-old Wakilan, were killed in the fire.

The fire spread to nearby houses, reducing seven of them to ashes.

The injured, Dina Bux Golo, Izzat, Shahul and Suhbat Khatoon, were taken to a local hospital.

Villagers extinguished the fire after three hours because no fire brigade was available in Kandhkot.
