Dacoits gang Strikes six times

VEHARI, Jan 7: A three-member gang of dacoits injured a landlord and took away hundreds of thousand of rupees, valuables, and a motorcycle in six strikes in Mailsi on Sunday night.

According to information reaching here, three dacoits intercepted Allah Ditta Langa when he was going to home on his motorcycle from grain market. The dacoits shot at and injured him when he resisted and took away thousands of rupees from him besides his motorcycle.

Allah Ditta was admitted to a local hospital.

The dacoits later snatched Rs150,000 from trader Sheikh Iqbal when he was going to home from the grain market.

The dacoits entered the house of Ghulam Rasool along Old Mailsi Road and took away Rs70,000 and other valuables.

The same gang sneaked into the house of Muhammad Bakhsh near Mailsi graveyard. They collected Rs60,000 and valuables and escaped.

Later, they entered the houses of Muhammad Ismaeel and Muhammad Bakhsh. They collected Rs14,000 and 12,000, gold ornaments, other valuables and four bicycles and fled.
