DERA MURAD JAMALI: Work on the 220kV grid station has been accelerated in Dera Murad Jamali town of Nasirabad division to ensure it is completed before the summer starts and people have access to a smooth power supply in the area.

Nasirabad Commissioner Saeed Ahmed Jamali visited the site on Friday where he was briefed about the work progress by officials from the Water and Power Development Authority and Quetta Electricity Supply Company.

The commissioner was told that work on the grid station had been expedited with the goal to wrap it up before the start of the summer which was usually the beginning of March.

Mr Jamali directed the officials concerned to take all steps needed to make sure that the project was completed in time for the people of Nasirabad and Jaffarabad.

He also held an open kutchery in Dera Murad Jamali and received applications from the men and women who informed him about the problems they faced in the area.
