KARACHI: Taimoor Zaheer and Hamza Bokhari guided The City School PAF Chapter to an overwhelming 41-20 victory over Bay View College (boys) in the retired Brig Rashid Ali Malik memorial inter-school (A-Levels) boys and girls basketball championships at the Arambagh court on Saturday.

Taimoor returned with a score of 16, while Hamza contributed 11. They were followed by Bilal Jamil having a score of six.

Rohail Shakil was the main scorer for the losers and finished with 10 while Synclair Samson followed with four.

In another match of the boys’ category, Bahria Coll­e­ge outplayed once formidable Habib Public School 40-8.

The victory revolved around the trio of Ali Shabbir who scored 12, Shahryar Nasir 10 and Muneeb Ahmed eight.

Shabbir Patel and Ahmer Ali scored four points apiece for the Habibians.
