KARACHI: Prolific scorer Amna guided the City School Darakshan Campus to an authoritative 42-17 victory over the Beaconhouse North Nazimabad in the retired Brig Rashid Ali Malik memorial inter-school (A-Levels) boys and girls basketball championships at the Arambagh court on Tuesday.

Amna returned with a tall figure of 22 in the group B girls’ match. She was assisted by Fatima eight. Anusha and Tooba scored eight points apiece for the losers.

Meanwhile, Beaconhouse North Nazimabad and Bay View College earned full points while registering convincing victories over their opponents in the boys’ category.

Beaconhouse sent the City School PECHS packing 30-10 with Azwat and Maaz scoring 13 and nine respectively for the winners.

Shaheer’s brilliant 17 went in vain as Whales School suffered 19-25 loss at the hands of Bay View College.

Rohail nine and Wasif four were the main scorers for the winners.
