PTCL official’s appeal to CE

DADU, Oct 13: The Director Human Resources,PTCL Lahore, Syed Dost Ali Shah, has appealed to President Pervez Musharraf to order the Sukkur district police to register FIR against former Sindh chief minister, Syed Abdullah Shah, former commissioner Sukkur (present DCO Sukkur) Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui and former deputy commissioner Sukkur Sabago Jatoi. Mr Shah has sent applications and telegrams to the president, commander 205 Brigade, Pano Aqil cantonment, corps commander 5-corps, requesting them to order the Sukkur police to provide him security and to register his FIR against the above named persons.

Shah the other day told Dawn that in 1994, district police Sukkur, on the directives of then Sindh chief minister Syed Abdullah Shah, the then commissioner Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui and the then deputy commissioner Sabago Khan Jatoi, had registered five separate FIRs against him at Rohri and Kandhra police stations.

He said that eight other cases were also registered against him at various police stations of Sukkur district.

He claimed that after the investigations by the crimes branch, Sukkur, all these cases were disposed of as ‘false’ in various periods.

ROBBERY: Four armed men barged into the house of Haji Muhammad Idrees Mirani at Mazdoorabad Mohalla, Dadu town the other day. Armed men held all the family members hostage in a room, looted Rs33000 cash, 2 tolas gold, one movie camera, ladies cloth and other valuables and escaped. Dadu town police have lodged an FIR against Nazeer Qambrani and his three unidentified accomplices.
