LAHORE: As many as 27 bouts in nine different weight categories were decided in the National Boxing Championship while the women’s version of the competition entered it’s semifinal stage at the Wapda Sports Board Complex here on Sunday night.

The semi-finals of the men’s event and finals of the women’s tournament will be held Today.

69 kgs: Shah Muhammad (Railways) bt Awais Ullah (Police). 75 kgs: Tanveer Ahmed (Navy) bt Afzal Khan (Punjab); Javed Akhtar (Railways) bt Ali Hamza (Fata); Hashmat Ullah Khan (Islamabad) bt Jamal Nasir (WAPDA). 81 kgs: Naeem Khan (PAF) bt Shahid Khan (KP); Awais Ali (Army) bt Majid Ali (Navy). 81 kgs: Noor Ullah (Railways) bt Shahil Zubair (AJK); Ehsan Ullah (KE) bt Abdul Qayyum (Fata); Niamatullah (Wapda) bt Asmat Ullah (Police). 91 kgs: Mehmood Ul Hasan (PAF) bt Shabbir Ahmed (Balochistan); Sana Ullah (Wapda) bt Bilal Khan (KE); Muhammad Amin (Police) bt Zulqarnain (Punjab); Ahmed Ali (Army) bt Tariq Nawaz (Navy).
