SANGHAR, May 8: Farmers have complained of unabated sale of spurious fertilizers and pesticides in the district. They alleged that gypsum in granular form was coloured and being sold as DAP fertilizer, sea salt was added into urea and cheap, instead of quality pesticide, was being filled into bags to fleece farmers.

They alleged that the dealers had piled up quantities of spurious pesticides and fertilizers.

They said the dealers were selling the same in retail to small farmers at an exorbitant rate.
