Cell phone

ISLAMABAD, May 7: A new mobile operator is joining Pakistan’s cellular network from Thursday with a pre-launch subscriber base of 1.5 million. “We are starting from where other mobile cellular companies reached, with already 28 cities connected to our network, General Manager Warid Telecom Omair A Haider said here at a news conference last night. The company will commence commercial operations in Pakistan from May 12.

In less than three years, Haider said, the cellular company would be far ahead from other competitors, as to reach every nook and corner of the country was the prime objective of the company. “We are coming with innovative products and services,” he said.
