Well, she would have been in transit through Abu Dhabi and would have, therefore made it to Ireland. The fact of the matter still remains as to how she had managed to dodge the ANF personnel, who have not been exposed yet.... surprising isn't it? The protocol and the level of security measures need a thorough review to ensure complete prevention of such occurrences in the future for the sake of Pakistan's prestige and trustworthiness which has come under scrutiny in the recent past.

She cleared two ANF counters. Why.? May be just because she was white women.or just staff did not perform their duties. They must be replaced or fired from their job.

A Czech lady arrested by customs officials after she passed through two ANF checks.This was the last check before she was about to board the plan bound for Dubai. This would have been a big embarrassment for Pakistan if she was arrested at Dubai airport. Pakistani authorities should suspend these officials who were working on that flight and did not detect the drugs. This is a very serious case and ANF officials should be investigated for not doing their job and getting paid.They don't deserve any leniency but should be fired and prosecuted. Secondly it indicates drugs are readily available in Pakistan and any foreigner can buy it without any hassle. Many Drug dealers are detained after her arrest but most of them will deny any drug dealings and they will be in business in few days later. Pakistani authorities should start sting operations in the country to eradicate this menace from the society.We got a break this time but we may not be lucky next time.Time for serious thinking.

Well done customs, and ANF need to review how they failed and why?

So who is going to get these culprits working at the airports. Common Pakistani or government officials. But when big bosses and politicians r getting kick backs from these officials then u think they will work properly. No check and balance on these people as they are officials. Check their behaviours at airports for nothing with common, poor and labourers going overseas. U officials are alive on their hard toil.

Without the support of these agencies no one dare to pass those counters, it's like impossible for anyone to do so, as a frequent traveller which i noticed in all those years of travel, even in the case of PIA, last year.

They need modern detectors at to be installed at the airport for fool proof checking. Many foreigners are more in to crimes these days. Foreigners must be treated as more suspiciously.

I don't know about Lahore but after the drugs incidents via Islamabad airports, there is a heavy presence of the ANF now and they seem to be doing their job well
