HYDERABAD, May 6: The Sindh High Court, Hyderabad circuit bench, here on Friday granted bail to People’s Party Parliamentarians MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio in a sum of Rs100,000. The MPA was booked by police on April 4 in a kidnapping case on complaint of Abdullah Chandio.

The complainant had accused that the MPA and his brothers and some 20 to 25 armed men had kidnapped his hari Khuda Bux in Deh Chalisabad.

The accused had threatened his haris to vacate the land otherwise they would be killed.

The MPA was arrested on April 5 and an application for his bail was filed before the Nawabshah sessions judge which was rejected. Then the MPA moved the Sindh High Court.

The court heard arguments for three day and fixed it for further arguments on May 5.

The complainant was represented by Ali Mohammad Dahiri while the additional AG Sindh, Masood A. Noorani, appeared on behalf of the Sindh government.
