Shopkeepers protest against SMC

SUKKUR, Jan 6: Shopkeepers of Nishter Road, Dhak Road, and Grain Market held a protest rally on Sunday against the Sukkur Municipal Corporation for not keeping the city clean.

They demanded the Taluka Nazim, Syed Kazim Ali Shah, to look into the matter on an urgent basis.

Several people including Abdul Latif and Abdul Jabbar expressed their annoyance over the working of the Sukkur Municipal Corporation.

They said that sewage remained on the roads for days and nothing was done to remove it.

They lamented that their businesses were being adversely affected due to the negligence of the Sukkur Municipal Corporation.
