One killed in accident

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 6: A passenger of a coach died in an accident on the Dera-Multan road.

A tanker (BUB-5489), filled with molasses, was on its way to Karachi from a sugar mills, when a coaster (LHP-641) overtook a truck and dashed into it. Losing its balance, the tanker collided with the truck and overturned. Rehmat Shah, a passenger in the coaster, died on the spot and some others were injured.

The coaster’s driver fled and the Paroa police have registered a  case against him.

WOMAN INJURED:#/ A woman and her baby were shot by the cousins of her husband in Dhalla village.

Mohammad Rafiq had a dispute with his cousins, Farid and Aziz. They came to Rafiq’s house armed with a 303 rifle and a pistol.

Rafiq’s wife, Zaitoon Bibi, and a child she was carrying, where shot when she tried to save here husband.

The injured were taken to the hospital.
