KARACHI: Police on Monday claimed to have killed two suspected robbers in an ‘encounter’ off the Superhighway.
Three suspects allegedly looted cash and other valuables from a citizen near Al-Noor Society and were trying to flee when a patrolling police party reached there.
In an ensuing encounter, two unknown suspects were killed while the third one escaped, a police spokesperson said.
The incident occurred at around 10:05pm in the SITE Superhighway Industrial Area, a police spokesperson said.
