MITHI: Village temple robbed

MITHI, May 4: A burglar broke into a temple at the Churio village, Nagarparkar taluka and stole jewellery worth thousands of rupees along with a statue on Monday night. When contacted, Nagarparkar SHO, Mahmood Bhoot, said that police have lodged an FIR on the complaint of Jamoo Kolhi, caretaker of the temple, and the police along with the villagers have tracked the footprints of the burglar up to Virawah and were investigating.

The value of the stolen jewellery is estimated to be Rs50,000 to Rs60,000.

Area people have urged the Sindh police chief as well as the DPO Tharparkar to immediately arrest the accused.
