Ali, Farid and Irfan shine

LAHORE, May 2: Three goals each by Ali Malik, Farid Noon and Irfan Ali Hyder helped RC Cola beat Amsoua Textile 10-4 1/2 in the Low Goal Club polo tournament on Monday. The losers, who had one and a half goal handicap held on to the lead in the first chukker as the winners could score only a goal through Asif Tiwana. The winners gained 3- 2 1/2 lead in the second chukker when Farid scored back-to-back goals.

The losers scored through Jawad Jamil who scored all three goals for them. The RC team increased the lead to 6-3 1/2 by adding three more goals in the third chukker. Farid, Ali Malik and Irfan scored a goal each while Jawad reduced the margin for the losers. RC Cola were at the rampage in the fourth chukker by adding four goals against one they conceded. Irfan and Ali Malik scored two goals each. Jawad struck his third for the losers.
