LAHORE: A 17-member Pakistan baseball team along with six officials departed for Dubai to play a two-match series against India there from Dec 8 to 10.

It is the first time that Pakistan and India are playing a bilateral series at a neutral venue. Khawar Shah, president Pakistan Baseball Feder­ation said that World Baseball Federation had sanctioned the series for Dubai and the world body would also give ranking points to the winners.
