LAHORE: A social activist has gone missing from his residence in Model Colony in the Naseerabad police area.

Raza Mahmood, a convener of Aghaz-i-Dosti, a friendship initiative between the youth of India and Pakistan, went to his residence after a meeting with friends on Saturday but was never heard of after that.

His mobile phone is switched off since then. Raza is also associated with Lowkey Lokai, another community initiative that brings people together for dialogues and debates on issues critical to building a peaceful society. He attended its meeting on Saturday and its details have been given on Facebook page.

Raza’s brother Hamid Nasir has submitted an application to Naseerabad police for an FIR but the case has not been registered yet.
