At least nine people were killed and 37 others injured as at least three terrorists attacked Peshawar's Agricultural Training Institute on Friday morning.

The terrorists stormed the ATI hostel, where around 150 people were present on the Eid Miladun Nabi holiday, firing indiscriminately, according to eyewitness accounts.

Three terrorists were neutralised in an operation conducted by security forces. The quick response by police, the army and Frontier Corps is believed to have restricted the damage that could have been done by the attackers.

The attack was claimed by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.
