KARACHI, Aug 28: Lt.Gen. Tauqir Zia, Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday expressed his dissatisfaction over the preparations of pitches in the first two Test match against Bangladesh.

He told reporters on Thursday that he said it was responsibility of Pakistan captain Rashid Latif and coach Javed Miandad to advise and consult curator Agha Zahid in preparations of the pitches before the series against Bangladesh.

He said he will be meeting Agha to know about the preparation of the pitches and also meet Rashid and Miandad to know their view point.

Rashid has said after the winning the second Test at National Stadium Karachi it was not that kind of pitch which they requested to PCB chief curator.

He however said Bangladesh was an upcoming side and they have improved a lot after a recent away series against Australia and he was not surprised with their performance against Pakistan.

Commenting on the historic performance of new star Yasir Hameed, he said it was a grand achievement. “He (Yasir) got a lots of talent and he had been scoring consistently in the domestic cricket” he said.—APP
