GWADAR: Gunmen fired on vehicles passing through the Coastal Highway near Pasni.

Levies officials said that unidentified people riding a bike intercepted five vehicles, including a passenger wagon, in Badok area and opened indiscriminate fire.

“They fired bullets on at least five vehicles last night, including a wagon carrying passengers, thus bursting tyres of the vehicles,” Levies officials said.

However, there had been no casualty of any kind, said the officials.

Meanwhile, the gunmen escaped from the scene.

Levies and Frontier Corps personnel have launched a search operation to arrest the armed men.

This was the second incident in a week when attackers opened fire on the tyres of the vehicles.
