PESHAWAR, Aug 26: A special project costing Rs1.027 billion has been prepared for the educational infrastructure development in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

The project will be executed with the support of the USAID and the Japanese government.

A joint USAID-JICA delegation discussed the proposed project with NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah here on Monday, a statement said.

Other members of the delegation included Dr Sarah E. Wright, senior education officer, Cathy Mallay, contract officer, and Mr Bob Trester of USAID, Ms Ono, representative of JICA, and Mr Kopa, second secretary of Japan embassy.
