HBFC gets new CEO

KARACHI: Syed Basit Aly assumed the charge of managing director/CEO of House Building Finance Company Ltd on Oct 31, a press release said on Thursday.

Prior to the appointment, he was working as director of the Infrastructure, Housing and SME Finance Department at the State Bank of Pakistan. He holds a master’s degree in development economics from Williams College, United States, it said.

Puma Energy acquires Admore Gas

KARACHI: Puma Energy, a globally integrated midstream and downstream company, has successfully concluded an agreement with the Chisti Group to acquire 51 per cent interest in Admore Gas Pvt Ltd. The new company will be called Puma Energy Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.
