SUKKUR: A man was attacked and killed over an old dispute of karo-kari in Jacobabad the other day.

Unidentified armed persons opened fire at Mohammad Irfan Golo, resident of Afzal Khan Khoso Road in Jacobabad, and critically injured him at the locality of Pir Bokhari.

Area people took Irfan to the Civil Hospital from where he was referred to a Larkana hospital due to his critical condition. But succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.

Earlier, people of Golo community said the deceased was decalred a ‘karo’ by a jirga in 2007.
