ISLAMABAD, Aug 25: A second meeting of constitutional experts of the government and the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal due on Sunday was put off to Tuesday on a request from Pakistan Muslim League-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, MMA sources said.

The committee is seeking to finalize recommendations for a constitutional package to resolve the controversy on the Legal Framework Order (LFO).

In another related development, the opposition, which had boycotted a meeting of business advisory committee of the National Assembly on Monday, agreed to participate in the committee meeting on Tuesday before start of the assembly session, the sources said.

Earlier, it was said that the second round will be held in presence of senior government legal adviser Sharifuddin Pirzada.
