PESHAWAR, Aug 24: The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) will distribute cheques among seven NGOs for carrying out environment related projects which fall within the 14 core areas of NCS (National Conservation Strategy) on Aug 27.

The cheques will be distributed by NWFP Senior Minister Sirajul Haq at the office of EPA.

The cheque distribution was part of small grant provided by federal ministry of environment to help NGOs under the NCS programme.

The NGOs and projects were selected after thorough scrutiny by the technical sub-committee and then by provincial NGO management committee.—APP
