ISLAMABAD: A man was killed in a road accident, while robbers struck at five places and made off with cash and valuables, police stated here on Saturday.

Basharat Masih, riding on a motorcycle, was killed after a speeding vehicle hit him near Jinnah Avenue.

He was taken to a hospital but he did not survive.

Some unidentified burglars broke into the house of Mohammad Iqbal in Kural and stole cash and valuables from there.

Thieves struck at the house of Azhar Iqbal at Bani Gala and looted cash and gold ornaments.

Similarly, two women entered the house of Zahor Ahmed in PWD Colony as house maids and stole cash and gold ornaments and escaped.

Motorcycles of Mohammad Ibrahim and Adil Ahmed were stolen from G-11/4 and F-9 Park.
