PESHAWAR: The Provincial Selection Board (PSB) has recommended promotions of 572 officers to the next grade.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the PSB chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Mohammad Azam Khan, according to a statement issued here on Tuesday.

The meeting discussed the promotion cases of the officers of different departments, and recommended promotion of 19 officers of establishment department to grade 18, 19, 20 and 21, five officers of prisons department to grade 18, nine officers of finance department to grade 18 and 19, four officers of higher education to grade 18, 19 and 20, 10 officers of information department to grade 18 and two officers of planning and development department to grade 19.

Likewise, 53 teachers of elementary and secondary education department were recommended for promotion to grade 18 and 19, 468 doctors of health department were recommended for promotion to grade 18, 19 and 20. The meeting also recommended two officers of planning cadre of health department for promotion to grade 19 and 20.
