KARACHI, Aug 20: Four ships carrying containers, palm and crude oil are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships were berthed to unload and load containers after the departure of two. The ships, which got berths included APL Shangahai, Kota Wangi, Sinar Bangka and Sinar Riau to unload and load containers and Addarraq to load molasses.

Two ships, Ocean Luna and North Sea departed, while APL Shanghai and Lt. Grand are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 72,608 tons comprising 7,371 tons of export cargo and 65,537 tons of import tonnage including 33,159 tons of oils.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Bunga Masempat, Hyundai Advance, with containers, Titan Venus, with 6,500 tons of palm oil and Sorena, with 65,000 tons of crude oil.
