ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) has decided to name its halls, auditorium and committee rooms after poets and writers.

Chairman PAL Dr Qasim Bughio during a briefing said that a library had already been nominated after poet Ahmed Faraz.

“Board of Governors has decided to name an under construction auditorium after Faiz Ahmed Faiz, conference hall after Sindhi poet Sheikh Ayaz, writers hall after Punjabi poet Ahmed Rahi, book house after Baloch poet Mir Gul Khan Naseer,” he said.

“Moreover Committee Room will be named after Pakhtun poet Hamza Khan Shinwari. Some other names are also under consideration,” he said.
