KARACHI: Pakistan CC and Alamgir Gymkhana scored comprehensive semi-final victories to move into the final of the KCCA Zone-VI Daud Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament here the other day.

Alamgir Gymkhana annihilated North Shire CC by a huge margin of 238 runs at the KCCA Stadium.

After piling up 294-6 in 40 overs with left-hander Saad Ali scoring 91 (14 boundaries and two sixes) and Usman Khan 76 (six fours and three sixes), Alamgir Gymkhana shot out North Shire CC for a paltry tally of 56 in 21.4 overs with spinners Hassaan Khan (4-9) and Ashiq Ali (3-9) sharing most of the wickets.

Pakistan CC crushed beat Qasmi Gymkhana by 155 runs at the Lawai Cricket Stadium in Naya Nazimabad.

Ali Asad (71, five boundaries) and Saud Shakeel (63, three fours and two sixes) powered Pakistan CC to 265 all out in 39.2 overs before Qasmi Gymkhana capitulated inside 18 overs for 110. Leg-spinner Shahzaib Ahmed Khan grabbed four wickets for 15 runs.

Earlier in the remaining two quarter-finals, Pakistan CC beat Golden Gymkhana by nine wickets, while Qasmi Gymkhana sealed a thrilling one-run victory over Northern Gymkhana.
