ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Thursday claimed to have busted a gang allegedly involved in screening offensive movies from an internet café in the Golra area.

The target audience of the suspects was teenagers, the police added.

The action was taken after the Golra police got information about the suspicious activity in the internet café located at Pind Paracha area of Golra.

During the raid, the police found teenagers watching offensive movies on computers in the cafe. The police arrested one of the gang members besides seizing a computer.

The arrested person along with the computer was shifted to the police station and a case was registered under sections 292 (sale, etc., of obscene books) and 293 (sale, etc., of obscene objects to young person) of Pakistan Penal Code.
