SIALKOT, Aug 12: On the orders of special Anti-Terrorism Court judge Iftikhar Husain, the Sialkot jail’s arrested assistant superintendents Akhtar Iqbal, Raja Mushtaq and Ghulam Sarwar were sent to the district jail on a judicial remand.

These officials had earlier been detained at the jail where they used to command before the July 25 incident.

Sources told this correspondent that the three suspects had been detained in separate barracks where security had been heightened.

CONDOLENCE: A condolence reference for the four slain judges was held at the District Bar Association’s hall here on Tuesday.

District and Sessions judge Chaudhry Zafar Husain, civil judges and the DBA members prayed for the departed souls.

ELECTROCUTED: Two persons were electrocuted in different parts of the district here on Tuesday.
