Traffic mess

Published July 26, 2017

I WOULD like to bring to your notice the disregard for decency by marquees in sector E-11. A new road, parallel to the marquees, has been built as a solution to the traffic hazard these marquees pose. After one-and-a-half years the road has been finally built, the marquee owners continue to flaunt their disregard for rule and making the extra road a mockery.

How? Simply by using the double road (for one-way traffic) to park cars. This is a big hazard as the legal traffic coming in has to deal with possible incoming cars to park.

There is no doubt there is negligence on the part of attendees like me, but the onus should be on the marquee owners to prevent ‘valet’ parking on this new double road . Else they should introduce parking space within their compounds. If they cannot, they should stop functioning as marriage halls.

Your Metro page should expose this blatant disregard by this marquee mafia and the police’s failure.
