LAHORE: Four people, including a minor girl, were injured when a swing collapsed at Joy Land Park in Fortress Stadium on Saturday.

All the injured were shifted to the Services Hospital from where they were allowed to go to their homes after first aid.

The injured were identified as four-year-old Momina, Furqan, Ahmad Bilal, 20, and his sister Samia Bilal, 22.

According to witnesses, the families were taking a joyride on the swing around 10:30pm when its axles broke as the operator accelerated the speed.

The incident sparked panic in the park as families and employees rushed to the swing to rescue the people.
