Peace in Kashmir

Published July 20, 2017

APROPOS the letter from Mumbai. All Pakistanis are concerned over the miseries the Kashmiris are suffering. Seventy years have passed but there seems to be no end to the India-Pakistan enmity because of this issue.

Is it not time that we thought of a subcontinent where the Kashmir issue has been settled. Just imagine more than a billion and a half people living in peace and harmony. A land where art, literature and music flourish. A land that has the world’s highest mountains Mount Everest and K2. It has the Taj Mahal, Moenjodaro, Taxila and Kalinga.

The world wants to visit and see these places. It is time we made peace so that our children benefit and prosper.
