KARACHI, Aug 11: Five vessels carrying coal, steel coils and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light owing to slow arrivals. As a result, three ships, Orient Stride, and Iwato to unload and load containers and Sorena to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed were led by Sinar Riay, Le Li, Steel Glory, Oriental Bougeset and Bow Giovanni, while Iwato, Sorena, Doojang Victor and Orient Stride are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 61,489 tons comprising 19,296 tons of export cargo including 12,000 tons of molasses and 62,193 tons of import was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Kota Waris, APL Cairo, Eax Sanctity, with containers, Thia Matina, with 45,495 tons of coal and Liberator, with 24,430 tons of steel coil.
