Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Comilla Victorians has signed Pakistani pacer and Champions Trophy 2017 hero Hasan Ali for its upcoming season later this year.

Hasan Ali confirmed the signing while speaking to Dawn.com: "It will be my first appearance in a foreign T20 league and I am very happy about this."

Bangladeshi media also reported that three other Pakistani players ─ Fahim Ashraf, Imran Khan Jr and Shoaib Malik ─ will represent Comilla Victorians in the league. Malik was previously associated with Chittagong Vikings.

Hasan Ali, who first emerged on the Pakistan cricket scene after being picked for Peshawar Zalmi in the first season of the Pakistan Super League, took 13 wickets to help Pakistan achieve Champions Trophy glory. He is also famous for his unique celebration style which has found him many fans.
